THE HOW-TO…
First, cut the paint sticks down to size. Cut the curved handle off so the paint stick becomes straight and around 9 inches in length. Sand the edges of the stick. Cut one or two paint sticks into shorter pieces 1¾ inches to 2¼ inches in length. You should also cut two of these short pieces in half horizontally, so that each piece is approximately 2 inches by ⅝ inches. Now that all the pieces are cut, you can form the frame.
